Speaking of which, don't miss the opportunity to visit the enchanting Sumela Monastery, which can be conveniently arranged through the reception. Location-wise, you can't beat it-just a stone's throw from Meydan Park and an array of restaurants, cafes, and shops. The main shopping streets are only five minutes away, making it easy to indulge in some retail therapy after a day of photography. Breakfast was decent, though I found the lack of fresh fruit a bit surprising. On the luxury side, the rooms were equipped with soundproofing and air conditioning, ensuring a good night's sleep. While valet parking and tours can cost extra, the overall experience and accessibility make the expense worthwhile. In essence, if you're weighing luxury versus value, Karayel strikes a solid balance, making it a smart choice for your Trabzon adventures.
